Do New Rochelle teachers share concerns about the use of hidden cameras
“Almost a quarter of teachers have voiced their concerns about ‘hidden’ surveillance cameras in schools, a survey said Monday. A survey of nearly 250 primary and secondary school teachers by the Association of Teachers and Lecturers (ATL) found that 84.6% have CCTV in their school and more than half (52.9%) said it made them feel safer. But 23.4% were concerned that there may be hidden cameras in classrooms that staff or pupils are not aware of.”
Hidden Cameras
With taxes going up, does the school board need to have hidden cameras, a lightening rod would have been a better investment – and what about safety rather than mistrusting both students and staff.
