    If you go to the doctor and you do get a rapid flu test, it will only tell the Doc the type (influenza “A” or “B”) not if the H1N1 strain is present. The doctor may send a sample to Westchester Cty Dept of Health, but, not all samples are tested according to their website http://www.westchestergov.com/health/Swine_Influenza.htm A pediatrician did tell me the flu is underreported in Westchester. It is going around so follow the guidelines if you can.
