City School District of New Rochelle Superintendent Vows to do Less With More!

Written By: Talk of the Sound News

EDITOR’S NOTE: The NRED web site was updated this morning so that the line in question now reads “challenge us to try to do more with less”.

Richard Organisciak shares with the world what is really lurking in his head via a Freudian slip. You can read all about it in City School District of New Rochelle website here:

http://www.nred.org/site_view_details.aspx?type=siteMessage

We predict that his “faux pas” will be corrected shortly after we publish this post. Therefore, we have conveniently made it available in pdf format for your reading enjoyment here: City School District of New Rochelle – From the Superintendent.pdf

Please note that in the final paragraph of his message, Mr. Organisciak states:

While the cuts and proposed reductions in staffing will challenge us to try to do less with more, it is clear that our Board of Education and the school community will work tirelessly to preserve the best possible opportunities for our children. New Rochelle is an outstanding District and with the support of its many satisfied residents, we will continue to be so for the 2010-11 school year.

Somehow, doing less with more does not seem like much of a challenge. Nevertheless, we applaud Mr. Organisciak in finally admitting what his true intentions are. Thank you Mr. O. We look forward to showing our appreciation to your candidness on May 18th. Remember, even if you do not succeed in doing less with more, all that matters it that you tried.

No surprise here. His classic press release which became an Internet classic concerning an alleged hazing incident in Long Island read, “we will tolerate no act of abuse whether real or imagined” (well that is pretty much what it was). At least we can be assured he is a man of his word; he will find it rather easy to do less with more” as he has a lot of practice at doing exactly that.
