(New Rochelle, NY) — Building permit applicants will now be able to prepare and track applications online, thanks to a new system rolled out by the City of New Rochelle on Tuesday, September 21.
The Online Building Permit System allows applicants to prepare permit applications, check the application’s status, print permits online and view basic property information. For a convenience fee of $59.95 per year, subscribers will be able to access complete property information, including violation and permit history; receive automatic notification of application status via email or text message; and will be able to print permits and Certificates of Occupancy from home or office. Additionally, subscribers will have the ability to archive electronic signature, licenses and records and access and manage jobs both past and present.
“This new system will streamline the building application process for our residents and contractors, saving both time and money,” said Paul Vacca, Deputy Commissioner/Buildings Official.
To access the new permit system, log on to http://www.gistrend.com/NewRochelle/ and click on the “Permits and Approvals” icon. To subscribe for enhanced service, click on the “Construction Professionals” icon.

Good job now you don’t have to go to city hall and pay to park or try to find a spot in that awful lot.So now i pay 59.95 a year to do things on line WOW.I guess thats better than a 25.00 ticket at a broken meter. By the way is there a fee of 4.95 to use a credit card? I bet there is. I’m sure they [city officals]will wave that fee for Cappelli and company.Sure Lou will say great job paul, chuck and noam.
