Sound Shore Medical Center (SSMC) is taking aim at the flu season by offering flu shots. On Tuesdays and Thursdays from 1:30 – 3:30 PM, individuals – with or without insurance – can arm themselves by receiving their annual vaccination at a cost of $20. There is no out-of-pocket expense for Medicare recipients.
An appointment is not required and individuals are seen on a first come/first serve basis. The flu shots are available through SSMC’s Ambulatory Care Center. Its entrance is located on Glover Johnson Place between Lockwood and Washington Avenues in New Rochelle.
