Ring in the New Year at Noon at New Roc City on Friday, December 31
New Rochelle, NY — (December 13, 2010) — New Roc City will be hosting it’s First Annual ”Ring in the New Year at Noon” celebration on Friday, December 31 from 10:30a.m.–Noon. New Roc City, located at 33 Le Count Place in downtown New Rochelle, will be celebrating the entrance into 2011 at the first-ever celebration designed to provide families with a Times Square-simulated atmosphere. Renowned radio personality Jimmy Fink of 107.1 The Peak will serve as the event’s emcee. Geared towards families with children ages 2-10, New Roc City will be the ultimate fun-filled destination for young families to celebrate the new decade. In addition to traditional New Years activities, kids will enjoy face painting, arts and crafts, kiddy rides, magicians, clowns, a martial arts demonstration, games and more. “Ring in the New Year at Noon” will be held on all three floors of New Roc City’s entertainment complex. At noon, Jimmy Fink will countdown to an exciting balloon release from the skylight.
Participating tenants include Regal IMAX Theater, Fun Fuzion Games and Rides, Modell’s Sporting Goods, Buffalo Wild Wings, Applebees, Authentic Café and Premier Martial Arts, Jani Chinese and Japanese Restaurant and the New Rochelle BID. Families will receive special offers from participating retailers and restaurants along with free ice cream, prizes and more. Snacks and beverages will be provided.

Re-open New Roc Ice Rink
If you really want to bring back family entertainment to New Roc City, start with correcting the wrong that was commited three years ago and re-open New Roc Ice Rink. Perhaps then, the families that were thrown out with little or no concern from the Mayor and his sidekicks will return to New Roc City.
