County Legislator Jim Maisano held a highly successful Toys for Tots event earlier today at Dudley’s Parkview Restaurant. Guests donated hundreds of toys while overflowed the large receiving box set aside to collect gifts to support the annual U.S. Marines Reserve Toy Drive.
“This is a lot of presents for a wonderful program of the Marine Corps Reserve,” said Maisano, a retired Marine. “I am so proud to see this kind of support from so many Westchester residents”.
Over the past 60 years the Toys for Tots program has delivered hundreds of millions of toys to needy children.
