1930’s Trolley Video I grew up on Overlook Circle in New Rochelle in the 50s and 60s. I now live in NJ. My brother sent me these videos today and I loved them. My husband is also from New Rochelle, having grown up on Pintard Avenue.
I believe my parents were friends with the Bells (Walter and Sabina?). In the video reference is made to Rose Street and we are all scratching our heads as to where this is or was. Our guess is it was demolished when Macy’s mall went in.
Any ideas where I could get a hold of a 1930s era New Rochelle map online? Would love to see more videos!
