A lawsuit will be filed against the City of New Rochelle Civil Service Commission in upcoming weeks. The lawsuit pertains to the Commission’s repeated violations of the NYS Open Meetings Law. It will focus on having the State Supreme Court declare a January 19, 2011 meeting of the Commission invalid because it was held outside the framework of the open meetings law.
