On February 20, 2011, State Police in Liberty arrested a man for DWI following a traffic stop on County Route 104 in the Town of Fallsburg. Ryan Hines, a 23 year old New Rochelle resident, was traveling north on County Route 104 when he failed to dim his high beam head lights. Troopers pulled his vehicle over and detected the odor of alcohol coming from the operator’s breath. Hines was given field sobriety tests, which he failed, and taken into custody for DWI. He was processed at SP Liberty and is to appear in the Town of Fallsburg Court on March 2, 2011.
