As always, lots of events happening in New Rochelle

Tomorrow at 10 am, head over to St. John’s Episcopal Church for the Hidden Gardens and Historic Places tour. The Garden Club of New Rochelle is sponsoring a self-guided tour of six gardens and two historic places in New Rochelle

The New Rochelle NAACP has teamed up with New Rochelle Community Action to present New Rochelle NAACP’s 1st Annual Health Fair. The free event will be held on Saturday, June 11, from 11 a.m. – 4 p.m. at the Martin Luther King Community Center

Later, Saturday at 4 pm, Wildcliff, presents a gripping jazz performance by bassist Steve Husted & The Low End Initiative Band. Bring a picnic lunch to to enjoy the music under the beautiful vista scapes of the Long Island Sound.

Sunday, June 12 -the Presbyterian Church of New Rochelle hosts Sound Shore Chorale. Selection from George F. Handel’s Oratorios will be performed. $20 for adults and $15 for seniors.

Later in the week, the New Rochelle Public Library, as part of their international film series will be screening My Young Auntie. – Seating is limited in the Ossie Davis theater, so head over early to get the prime locations for this film shown in Cantonese and Mandarin with English subtitles.

Lastly, next Friday kicks off the New Rochelle farmer’s market – Running through mid-November, the library green area will bustle with fresh fruits, veggies and baked goods. Head on over and pick up some delicious treats.
