As the Independence Day weekend is upon, there are great events on the calendar to keep you busy in New Rochelle:
First up:
Tomorrow at 2 – Wildcliff Manor and the NRAA present their Open Air Art Show – Several artists will be featured showcasing their art across a spectrum of media –
Stick around Wildcliff after the show for and lay down your blanket to enjoy Steve Husted and the Low End Initiative Band taking the stage at 5, immediately following the art show
More music on Sunday –
The New Rochelle Public Library presents The Sunset Serenade Concert. Members of the Westchester Chamber Symphony will perform the music of Elgar, Mozart & Tchaikovsky.
Monday is Independence Day and Hudson Park is happy to host their annual “Spark The Sound” Fireworks Extravaganza. Stake out a good spot by the water and bask in the radiant glow of freedom.
Great stuff during the week as well –
Tuesday Night at 7 – Percussionist Vongku Pak and his troupe will perform an energetic fusion of ‘contemporary Korean drumming styles with elements of traditional dance’ at the New Rochelle Library’s Ossie Davis Theater.
And on Wednesday, New Rochelle BID kicks off a great summer of events with Amazing Animals!
The good folks from Animal Enounters will bring along a veritable menagerie of animals to get to know.
