As always, lots of amazing events rounding out your August in New Rochelle
It’s music Friday again.
Head over to Wildcliff Manor for the Indie Jam Session from 5:30 – 8:00. Top Jazz players from the area take the stage to showcase their chops in open air down by the water.
Then, if you’re still thirsty for tunes (and perhaps cocktails) you can hit up the Brickyard Bistro where Tasty Mike and his fabulous blues trio will be plugging in for some jams at 9:00 pm
Big congratulations to the American Legion Post 8 who hosts their 90th anniversary picnic and Shuffleboard tournament on Saturday. Head over to the legendary hall for some good BBQ and hot shuffleboard competition.
It’s back to Wildcliff Manor on Saturday at 6 for A Mended Heart. Written & directed by Westchester native Paul Bratcher. Pretty exciting as it’s the first time the Wildcliff Stage will be the host of some theater works.
And finally, Aug. 17 – REGGIE WOODS – A versatile saxophonist and his ensemble perform contemporary jazz and current R&B, reminiscent of the masters of Jazz. As part of the 2011 Summer Concert Series. That kicking off at 7 pm, Wednesday down at Hudson Park.
