Sign-Gate: Did the Mayor Pull a Bait and Switch?

Written By: Talk of the Sound News

I imagine that when people gave money to Mayor Bramson’s campaign, they were giving him money to help him get reelected. Now I see he shares signs with Rackman, Rice, Fertel and the others. Did the Mayor’s contributors know they were going to subsidize other campaigns? If this happened to me, I’d be pretty upset.

  1. This is the one case where Fertel is at least being genuine
Fertel has asked Noam Bramson what he should do whenever he visits the Rest Room at City Hall so at least in the case of the Bramson/ Fertel Signs he is being genuine. He is a Bramson “Lacky” has voted 100% for whatever Noam has voted for and in the end at least the voters know where he stands. Noam says Jump Fertel asks how high, Noam says in the rest room stand up or sit down and of course Fertel the Lacky follows. He was handed his seat in district 5 ran unopposed last time and now he has an opponent with a independant mind so its better he just continue down the same path of stupidity no matter if it hurts his constituents.
I am glad to see Bramson/ Fertel signs because what I read is Bramson/ Lacky for District 5.

  2. Democrats Double Billed Campaign Signs
I’m glad you wrote about this. I see your point but I wanted to add another angle to it. On my radio show I took Councilman Rice to task for sharing a sign with the Mayor. The reason was Mr Rice said he would be an independent voice beholden to no one on.

I just don’t see how independent one can be when they are riding on the Mayor’s coat tails. Especially a guy who had 70 plus percent vote in his district for the special election. My question is to him would be why? Why wrap yourself in the Bramson coat when you do not need to? Please check your “independence” at the door.

At first I thought it was just Mr Rice but I now see a sea of campaign signs with Mayor Bramson sharing the bill with Rackman and Hyden. I have not had the opportunity to see if Fertel or Lopez has hitched a ride as well.

How do you oppose an idea from the Mayor if he got saved you money on buying campaign signs you possibly got you elected?

Outside of Mayor Bramson the Democrat Slate is like the old Brady Bunch episode when Greg Brady became a rock star not because of talent but because he fit the suit. (Yes, I referenced the Brady Bunch and the Johnny Bravo episode to make a point)

    1. NO Democrat running for city council has any back bone
Fertel has the signs too. They started popping up on Sunday or Monday.

How un-original to have all the same signs. Goes to show that NO Democrat running for city council has any back bone to stand up for anything or to anyone. Who agrees 100% with anyone? I guess the answer would be Noam Rochelle Democrats and Mayor Bramson. They’re all going to be yes men and women. Makes me sick to my stomach just thinking about it.
