- CNR: The Politics of Worship
- Holy Name Holiday Boutique
- NRPL: Make-A-Gift
- Westchester Young Artist Music Recital
- Bethesda Cares: Blood Pressure Screening
Right now, at the College of New Rochelle, one of my favorite things: a theological discussion is taking place. There is still time to catch some of The Politics of Worship: Reflections on Shepherds, Magi and Demagogues Lecture — taking place right now
Saturday at 12:30, head over to the public library for a Make-A-Gift workshop. A staff of teachers and teens will be on hand to guide children ages 5 and up in crafting three creative holiday presents to give to their loved ones for Hanukkah and Christmas. Wrapping and gift tags are included.
Saturday at 3, Holy Name presents their annual Holiday Boutique. They’ll have great vendors on hand to help you get that holiday shopping done on time this year.
Back to the library at 2 on Sunday for a showcase of brilliant young talent from around Westchester. Watch young virtuosos take to the Ossie Davis Theater stage for the Westchester Musicians Guild Young Artists Concert.
And finally, all this holiday indulging is short-term, but the after-effects can be lasting! So, head over to the Bethesda Baptist Church on Wednesday evening for a free blood pressure screening.
