As always, we have a lot of great events keeping us busy as we prepare to ring in the New Year –
First up, head to the Public Library of New Rochelle for the Vaudevillian stylings of silent comedian Chip Bryant – He takes the stage at the Ossie Davis theater tomorrow at 2 PM
Then tomorrow evening, it’s Feel Good Friday at Siete Ocho Siete in downtown New Rochelle. Get your pre-holiday party on with drink specials and great food.
Head over to New Roc City on New Year’s Eve for a special celebration for the kiddies! Ring in the New Year at Noon lets the young ones experience that New Year’s revelry much earlier in the day. For more information, click the ad on the upper right of Talk of the Sound
Remember, the New Rochelle Public Library will be closed on both New Year’s Eve and New Year’s Day – but the action kicks right back up in 2012
The librarians are hosting a discussion of some of Mark Twain’s work in a Brown Bag Book Discussion. The first installment of this library mainstay is on January 4th at 12 pm.
And keep it at the library on January 5th, where at 7 pm, a certified hypnotist will be on hand to give a presentation. Titled: Live a Stress Free Life, Wendy Packer will be chatting and answering questions hoping to ease the inevitable turbulence of the holidays
