Going on right now, the Chamber of Commerce is holding a General Membership meeting. Head on down to the Davenport Club until 9 pm to network with the growing association.
Friday, 7:30 at the American Legion Post 8, there will be a meeting of the Save Our Armory Committee. This meeting will have a special agenda as there are many new and important issues to be discussed — especially regarding Echo Bay and Forest City Ratner.
Also tomorrow, and every Friday, the Post Road Alehouse showcases local talent with live acoustic music. Starting at 9:30 hear the flavor of local musicians every week at this time.
Come sample wines from all over the world at a wine tasting. Quinn-Tessential Wines & Spirits opens their doors every Friday and Saturday at 4 PM. You can even get discounts on cases on wine.
And finally, on Saturday at 3 pm – head over to the Parish Performing Arts Center for their Black History Celebration. The curtain rises on their Homage to Black American Playwrights with five short plays written and performed by local college students
