Golfers will save 50 percent off regular golf fees at five County public golf courses on opening day only, Wednesday, March 14, to mark the 50 year anniversary of the Westchester County Department of Parks, Recreation and Conservation.
The courses will open weather and conditions permitting. There is no rain date for the offer. Only walk up reservations will be accepted on March 14 with first come, first served; no advance reservations; Twilight, super twilight and back nine rates not included.
The five courses are Mohansic in Yorktown Heights; Maple Moor in White Plains; Saxon Woods in Scarsdale; and Dunwoodie and Sprain Lake, both in Yonkers. Hudson Hills is not included in the offer.
The tee time reservation system will be available beginning Wednesday, March 7, at 7 p.m. by calling (914) 995-GOLF (4653) or online at golf.westchestergov.com, the link. The first day of available reservations will be March 15.
This year’s greens fees include a $2 increase necessary to provide the same quality services and conditions county courses offer. Greens fees for 18 holes with a Westchester County Park Pass are: weekends and holidays, $35; weekdays, $31; seniors and juniors (weekdays only) $24. Greens fees without a park pass are: weekends and holidays, $45; weekdays, $41. Twilight, super twilight and nine-hole discounts are available. Golf cart fees are separate. Fee structure for Hudson Hills is available online at hudsonhillsgolf.com.
Any remaining available E-Z Reserve spots will be sold at the courses. E-Z Reserve enables golfers with a Westchester County Park Pass to block out a regular Saturday or Sunday tee time for a period of 25 weeks.
