Governor Andrew M. Cuomo has proclaimed March 29, 2012 as Vietnam Veterans’ Day in New York. In doing so we are reminded that “we have not forgotten – nor will we ever forget” the men and women who have served, and still serve this Nation. We thank the Governor for the recognition and in holding up the tradition of keeping the memory of the cost for freedom alive. It’s been said that no soldier ever dies until he’s forgotten. May they all live forever in the collective memory of a grateful Nation.
