Bicycle Sundays will kick off at the Westchester County Center in White Plains at the Bronx River Parkway on Sunday, May 6th at 10 a.m.
The complete schedule includes May 6, 13, 20; June 3, 10, 17, 24; September 9, 16, 23, 30 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.
On these days, the Bronx River Parkway closes to vehicular traffic and opens to cyclists, skaters, non-motorized scooters, walkers, joggers and strollers from the County Center in White Plains south to Scarsdale Road in Yonkers, a 13.1-mile round trip. Admission is free. Parking at the County Center lot in White Plains is $5.00
Bicycle Sundays is presented by the Westchester County Parks and sponsored by Con Edison and Friends of Westchester County Parks, with support from radio station WHUD 100.7.
