The popular family film series, “Disney Hit Parade”, begins its summer run at the New Rochelle Public Library on Monday, July 2nd at 6:00 pm with the 1961 classic, The Absent- Minded Professor. The free film is suitable for all ages and will be shown on the big screen of the air-conditioned Ossie Davis Theater.
The film stars Fred MacMurray, Nancy Olson, Keenan Wynn, and Tommy Kirk. See brainy Professor Brainard (MacMurray) and his gravity-defying discovery Flubber (flying rubber) put more bounce in the school basketball team, fly a Model “T” jalopy over Washington, D.C., and save Medfield College from financial ruin!
The next film in the series, That Darn Cat, will be shown on July 9th.
