Fireworks Schedule For Westchester County Parks

Spectacular fireworks will illuminate the sky over two Westchester County Parks as the summer season gets underway.

On Tuesday, July 3, the annual free Kensico Dam Music Fest will feature a performance by the Bensen-Scott Big Band. Pre-concert entertainment will begin at 6 p.m. and the band will perform at 8 p.m. A fireworks display in front of the dam will follow at approximately 9:15 p.m.

Playland Park in Rye will present fireworks displays, computer-fired and choreographed to a musical soundtrack, Wednesday, July 4, at 9:30 p.m. and Friday July 6, at 9:15 p.m. and then every Wednesday and Friday evening through August 31, 9:15 p.m. Find the park’s operating schedule and admission prices at RyePlayland.org or call (914) 813-7010. Parking is $5 weekdays, $7 weekends and $10 on July 4.

Playland is located in Rye and can be reached via the New England Thruway (I-95),
Playland Parkway exit 19. Follow this directly into Playland. Kensico Dam Plaza is located at the north end of the Bronx River Parkway in Valhalla and can be reached via Route 22 or the Taconic State Parkway.
