To put the current effort to develop a comprehensive plan for New Rochelle the City into context, Talk of the Sound has gathered the three previous efforts at a long-term planning document for the City of New Rochelle in one place with the assistance of Kathy Gilwit, Lynn Brooks-Avni and Barbara Davis. Given the condition of the 1966 Master Plan documents it could not be run through a scanner and so each page was photographed by hand, the photos then manually cropped and assembled into PDF files.

To aide the current effort, the City has created a web site to solicit ideas and information from the public.
If there was interest, I was considering attempting to convert the complete set into e-book formats (.epub for most e-readers including iPad and Sony Reader; .mobil for Amazon Kindle.). For me, I am reading them on my iPad as PDF files using an app called Goodreader. You can open the files on an iPad using iBook.
This is very interesting.
