Obituary: Danzie B. Mills (1926 – 2012)

Danzie B. Mills, a 67 year resident of New Rochelle died August 3, 2012 after a lengthy illness. Born November 23, 1926 to John G. and Rosie (Graham) McArthur in Laurinburg, NC where she graduated the public schools. Employed many years a housekeeper, also an active member of Shiloh Baptist Church, New Rochelle, and the Senior Usher Ministry. Married to John D. Mills who predeceased her. Survived by a daughter, Janet Moore; son, Michael Mills (Tracy); 9 grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; brother, John Gaston McArthur; nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Predeceased by a daughter, Jacquilla Mills.

Family to receive friends Saturday, 8:30 to 9:30am Shiloh Baptist Church, 185 Lincoln Avenue, New Rochelle. Interment Greenwood Union Cemetery, Rye,NY.
