WHITE PLAINS, NY — Westchester County’s Department of Senior Programs and Services (DSPS) announced that the date for the 30th annual Westchester Senior Citizens Hall of Fame luncheon has been changed to Monday, Dec. 3.

The event will still take place from 11:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Westchester Marriott Hotel in Tarrytown. DSPS is accepting nominations for the Senior Citizens Hall of Fame until Sept. 14.

The Hall of Fame recognizes seniors who have generously given their time and energy to improve the quality of life in their communities or the county at large. They can be outstanding leaders or advocates in a wide variety of areas. They cannot, however, already be Hall of Fame members.

For more information about the Senior Hall of Fame, visit www.westchestergov.com/seniors. You can also submit a nomination online at that site. If you prefer to receive a nomination form through the mail or have questions, contact Annette Alve at ala3@westchestergov.com or (914) 813-6414 and leave a message.
