NEW YORK, NY — LATINA Style magazine has again named Con Edison one of the 50 best companies for Latinas in the United States. Since 2002 the company has made the magazine’s Top 50 list eight times, and earned honorable mentions in 2008 and 2009.
The magazine cited the company’s “many benefits,” including Con Edison’s emergency child-care plan, flexible reimbursement dependent account, scholarship opportunities and 10 weeks paid leave for childbirth. LATINA Style noted that “many Latinas hold top positions at Con Edison.”
Con Edison is a subsidiary of Consolidated Edison, Inc. WOW!!!
You either work for them, have stocks with them or both!
Try explaining financial hardship to them…They could care less!
But then again..Being the Financially Solvent Monopoly they are no reason they are insensitive!
I think TOTS is reporting what Latina magazine did…
and if you poured a gazillion dollars worth of advertising into Latina magazine, they would vote you the Best of the Best too.
Money talks.
we posted their press release
We try to post as much as we can get from organizations that somehow are related to New Rochelle which would include Con Ed, United Water, etc.
We try to be as comprehensive as we can and were not picking and choosing for any other reason than giving readers the information.
