CNR’s Cydney House Named Association of Division III Independents Player of the Week for Volleyball

OVERLAND PARK, KS — CNR’s Cydney House Named Association of Division III Independents Player of the Week for VolleyballThe College of New Rochelle freshman setter/outside hitter Cydney House (Dublin, CA/California HS) has been named the Association of Division III Independents (AD3I) Volleyball Player of the Week, it was announced today by the conference office.

House, who adds this recognition to the Hudson Valley Women’s Athletic Conference Volleyball Rookie of the Week award she received yesterday, played a key role in Blue Angels perfect 3-0 week, averaging 1.91 kills, 2.09 assists, 1.82 service aces, 1.36 digs and 0.18 block solos per set as the Blue Angels ran their winning streak to four. The freshman recorded a match- and season-high 12 service aces at Medgar Evers College, recorded a double-double with team-highs of 11 kills and 17 assists at York (NY) College, and led the team with nine kills and nine digs in a sweep of Culinary Institute.

This marks the fourth time this season a Blue Angel has been recognized by AD3I with this award.

CNR returns to action on September 6, traveling to Brooklyn College for a match slated to begin at 7:00 PM.
