The nature of which this data has been made available and also the use of the scripting for the maps makes it VERY Easy to extract all of this data quickly and efficiently. THIS IS DANGEROUS AND COULD BE USED FOR BASIC IDENTITY THEFT.
As you can see this uses Google Maps to display the data in an interactive and easy to use format. Though if you wanted to analyse/view this data differently rather than just clicking on each individual circle e.g. searching for an individual’s name or ZIP Code. You can. This Map relies on another service provided by Google called Fusion Tables. Think of it like Microsoft Excel but for the web.
In this case, I can look at the source code of the web page (Right Click > View Source) look for the Google Map Elements and get the File IDs for each of the Fusion Tables. Use that same ID to open the file. I get this:
From here I can also extract this data into a CSV file which can be opened in Excel:
This is wrong and the County are at fault as well as the newspaper for providing the data for this. There is potential for damage and risk for each of these 33,329 people listed. Additionally, this would also be a marketer’s “wet dream” especially for marketers in the industry for gun trade.

In typical NYS liberal fashion another mainstream media liberal controlled paper has exposed law abiding citizens to the very real possibility of making it easier for government seizure or worse for criminals to STEAL guns to support their criminal activities. Criminals don’t use anything LEGAL they get guns ammo and clips ILLEGALLY like the drugs they also sell and distribute. What is needed is an enforcement of over 600 existing gun laws that could be used in the prosecution of these criminals that liberals refuse to enforce but instead use the current chaos created by their non-enforcement of existing laws to push their doctrine of elimination of the second amendment.
What is needed is real conservatives to stand on principle and existing law and stop this liberal nonsense that is also pervasive in their train wreck of an economy under their watch.

This proves Obama’s credulous nature (like all democrats) on military-style assault weapons and high-capacity ammunition clips, the illusion that criminals take advantage of legal loopholes. Criminals don’t do anything legal they get guns illegally.
I moved out of NYS 5 years ago to a western state that advocates carrying a weapon and we have the lowest murder and robbery rates in the nation.
Do yourself a favor have an exit strategy and MOVE OUT OF NEW YORK STATE to southern and western states that HAVE gun laws that allow armed citizens to be on top of the food chain when it comes to controlling crime and who have been running their governments better than NY Quit subsidizing irresponsible fiscal management, a welfare state government and ridiculous gun laws that DON”T WORK. .Keep that money in your pocket and keep your constitutional power plan an exit strategy. MOVE NOW to a state that has low taxes and better standard of living. Do research and plan. Move out of NY it will not get better
