NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The Fruit Bandit has struck again.
Early Sunday morning, New Rochelle Police discovered a number of cars damaged by fruit along Pelham Road, Leland Avenue and Weyman Avenue. Some cars had the rear windows broken, taillight broken or the side view mirrors taken off by pumpkins and other kinds of fruit.
This is the second time in the last week that the so-called Fruit Bandit has struck.
Many cars were damaged last week in the area of Locust Avenue and Pelham Road. New Rochelle police were still searching for more cars in the areas as of 6:00 a.m.
Police have no suspects.
