An Afternoon Of Writers And Poets: Readings At The New Rochelle Public Library

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A free, public program of readings by writers and poets of The Westchester Review will be presented at the New Rochelle Public Library on Sunday, May 24, at 2:00 pm. “An Afternoon of Writers and Poets” will take place in a salon-like setting, with refreshments and conversation with the writers following the readings.

The Westchester Review: A Literary Journal for Writers from the Hudson to the Sound, an annual literary journal since 2007, publishes fiction, nonfiction, poetry and plays by emerging and established writers in Westchester County.  Throughout the year the journal partners with libraries, writers’ centers and literary groups to present readings by its current authors.

The March 24th program will include prose by Clark Cooke, Dylan Gilbert, Brendan Kiernan, Douglas Krohn, and Michael Malone; and poetry by Daphne Carter McKnight, Peter Reilly, Susan Walton, Fred Yannantuono. Joan Motyka will speak about “The Art of the Interview”.
