Rocco F. Cassone of New Rochelle, NY died March 5, 2013 at Westchester Medical Center, Valhalla, NY. He was 90 and a lifetime resident of New Rochelle. Mr Cassone retired from West Side Bakery in New Rochelle, NY. Mr. Cassone was born July 30, 1922 in New Rochelle to Frank and Francesca Barresi Cassone. He served in the Army during World War II. On February 2, 1947 he married Ada Filippo at St Joseph’s Church in New Rochelle, NY. He is survived by his sons, Rocco and Richard; daughter-in-law Claudia; daughter Frances and sister Nancy Idone. Mr. Cassone has 5 grandchildren – Melissa, Samantha, Jennifer, Nicole and Joseph, as well as 2 great grandchildren – Bryce and Sloan. Calling hours are Saturday 3-5, 7-9pm and Sunday 2-6pm at N. Cancro Inc Funeral Home. The funeral is Monday 11am at St Joseph’s Church.
