NEW ROCHELLE, NY — A portion of a building came down at Rey Food Corp. at 440 North Avenue and Morris Street sending bricks, cinder blocks and building debris onto the sidewalk below.
Numerous fire and police and EMS responded to the scene and the New Rochelle special Collapse Unit.
Calls starting coming into the police and fire departments at 6:42 am.
There was no one inside the building at the time and no one outside the building on the street. No injuries were reported.
4 cars parked on Morris Street were damaged.
Who would be responsible for
Who would be responsible for this accident? Aside from the building owner the authority also has a lot to answer specially the building official. –JustFab

Not sure if it’s the actual bricklayer, or one of the three guys who were paid to watch him.
