I need a favor – come to bone marrow swab event tomorrow – maybe save a life!

US_DBClogo200pxREV (1) A friend is in need of a bone marrow transplant – I need your help. Joe Solimine is a good friend and a caring and committed member of the Pelham community for decades. He’s given to others for his entire life. Now, he’s in a battle for his life, and I’m asking you to help.

Joe and people like him won’t survive without a life-saving bone marrow transplant. Only 2% of the US population is registered to donate bone marrow. We have a chance to change that by getting more people registered. This increases the odds for Joe and the 18,000 other people, many of whom are children, who are waiting for a match.

If you would like to register yourself as a bone marrow donor and help Joe and others, please attend tomorrow’s event:

  • The Pelham Country Club, 940 Wynnewood Rd., Pelham Manor, NY, Saturday, April 13 between 10:00 AM and 4:00 PM – TOMORROW!
  • The process is a simple swab of your cheek and won’t take more than a few minutes.  Note:  donors must be between 18-55 years old.

If you can’t make the event, register online by having a kit sent to your home at:  http://www.deletebloodcancer.org/register (please indicate Joe Solimine in "how you heard about us" section).

Thanks for taking the time to read this email – please consider making a donation tomorrow that can literally save a life.
