New Rochelle High School Expected to be Open on Monday

The New Rochelle Board of Education has put out the following notice:

A generator has been set up that is now powering the building to almost full capacity. We expect that by later this afternoon the entire building will be back on line and have power. Also, experts have deemed the air quality in the building to be safe. There will be no access to the building today (Sunday, 6/9).

However, the building will be open for school tomorrow as planned. Parents will be receiving a message from Principal Don Conetta later this evening with specific instructions about school tomorrow, testing, retrieving belongings and other important details.

Thank you for your ongoing patience and understanding as we work to handle the situation.
