Music of the Andes at the New Rochelle Library

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — New Rochelle Public Library’s popular International Music and Dance series continues on Tuesday, July 9th with the five-piece ensemble, Andinay. performing music from the Andes. The free show begins at 7:00 pm in the library’s air-conditioned Ossie Davis Theater, and is appropriate for all ages.

The group, Andinay, has been delighting local crowds for the past seven years with their acoustic guitars, smooth vocals and cool flute riffs. The group of musicians with roots in Ecuador, Bolivia and Peru, create a crowd-pleasing blend of exuberant sounds on timeless, centuries-old instruments of their homelands.

Seating is on a first-come/first-served basis, to the capacity of the library’s 138-seat Ossie Davis Theater. Doors open at 6:45 pm.
