NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Westchester County Police last month arrested two Bronx men and charged them with selling cocaine in the city of New Rochelle.
The arrests were the result of a four-month investigation by the county police Narcotics Unit and involved the purchase of cocaine by undercover officers.
Louie Gonzalez, 33, of the Bronx was arrested on Thursday at 8:45 a.m. in front of his residence on Tomlinson Avenue. He was charged with four counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree (Intent to Sell) and four counts of Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, felonies.
William Luque, 35, of Halperin Avenue was arrested Tuesday at 1:40 p.m. on Nardozi Place. He was found in possession of 20 small bags of cocaine at the time of his arrest. Luque was charged with two counts of Criminal Sale of a Controlled Substance 3rd Degree and one count of Criminal Possession Controlled Substance 3rd Degree, felonies.
Both men were arraigned in New Rochelle City Court. Luque was remanded to the Westchester County Jail in Valhalla. Gonzalez was released on $10,000 bail.
