07/25 Family Film Frenzy to Screen Finding Nemo at Glen Island Beach in New Rochelle

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Catch a flick and take a dip as the popular “Family Film Frenzy” outdoor movies and swimming series returns with four fabulous films at four different Westchester County parks this summer. The animated hit Hotel Transylvania (2012 – PG) kicks off the series on Tuesday, July 9, at The Brook at Tibbetts Brook Park in Yonkers. Rain date is Wednesday, July 10.

The park opens at 7 p.m. for after-hours swimming, picnicking and relaxing. The movie begins at sundown. Bring your own picnic or purchase food at the concession stand. Bring blankets and chairs for seating.

Admission is $5 per person (free for children under age 5) and includes the movie only. A Westchester County Park Pass is not required for admission. Admission wristbands go on sale the day of the event and will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis while supplies last.

The series continues with a showing of Madagascar 3 (2012 – PG) on Tuesday, July 16 at Willson’s Waves Pool in Mount Vernon; Finding Nemo (2003 – G) on Thursday, July 25 at Glen Island Beach in New Rochelle; and Rise of the Guardians. (2012 – PG) on Tuesday, August 6, at Saxon Woods Pool in White Plains.
