Joseph Robert Buono, Sr., a lifelong resident of New Rochelle, died on July 5, 2013. He was 80. Joseph was born on September 6, 1932, in New Rochelle, to the late Charles and Mary (Quinlan) Buono. He worked for many years at the New Rochelle Post Office. He was an Army Veteran. He was predeceased by his wife the former Amelia Ritacco. He is survived by his children Joseph Jr. (Barbara), Mary Ciccone (Patrick), Charles (Robin), and Dolores (Philip); his grandchildren, John, Lauren, Tina, and Philip; his sister Patricia Buono and several nieces and nephews.
