Today the organization is proud to announce the appointment of Salvatore Pepe, President of Mercedes Benz of New Rochelle, to its board of directors.

For over 84 years, The Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle has been a safe haven for children. The organization offers a broad range of programs and activities in five core areas including: education and career development; character and leadership development; sports, fitness and recreation; health and life skills; technology; and the arts.  The Club serve more than 2,000 children each year, during the non-school hours when many might otherwise spend their time alone, afraid and/or at risk.  The programs are offered at 2 Club locations and 6 extension sites throughout the city of New Rochelle including Ward Elementary School, Trinity Elementary School and New Rochelle High School.

“We are excited to welcome Mr. Pepe to our board,” says Candace Pinn, Boys & Girls Club of New Rochelle Board President. “The Club is committed to helping children achieve academic success, live healthy lifestyles and develop into future leaders. Board members are responsible for educating the community on the critical need for investment in the programs and services we provide. We are so grateful to have individuals like Mr. Pepe offer their time, talent and passion to make bright futures possible for our kids.”
