NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Diana A. Williams, 39, a security guard at New Rochelle High School, was arrested last weekend on charges of DWI after tests showed her blood alcohol content exceeded 00.18, more than twice the legal limit.
Williams was held on $250 bail and released after she was arrested shortly after midnight on September 15th. She was charged with three counts of drunk driving: Driving While Intoxicated-1st Offense, Operating a Motor Vehicle with 00.08 of 1% or more Alcohol in Blood-1st Offense, and Aggravated DWI-Per Se- BAC 00.18 or More – No Priors.
Several hours after her release, Williams reported to work security at the New Rochelle High School football game against Mahopac High School.
UPDATE: Knowledgeable sources tell Talk of the Sound that Diana Williams’ BAC was 00.25, more than three times the legal limit which suggests the possibility that she was still under the influence of alcohol when she reported to work at New Rochelle High School about 12 hours later. School Security Director Bruce Daniele was aware that Williams had been arrested by the time the game started on Sunday and allowed her to work anyway, sources say.
