NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Talk of the Sound has obtained new video and photos and use the new images to positively identified the license plate of the vehicle used by two men engaged in tearing down Rob Astorino lawn signs and replacing them with Noam Bramson lawn signs.
Over the weekend, Talk of the Sound reported that the pair of men seen in the video are family members of prominent leaders in the Westchester County Democratic Party, Mount Vernon City Hall and County Board of Elections.
Jahi Lafayette, son of Westchester County Democratic Chairperson Reginald Lafayette, has denied being one of the men in a video which shows two men removing Rob Astorino lawn signs and replacing them with lawn signs of Democratic Party candidates including Westchester County Democratic Candidate Noam Bramson.
“I don’t have time for that,” said Jafi Lafayette.
Reginald A. LaFayette is the Democratic Commissioner of the Westchester County Board of Elections, responsible for overseeing election integrity in the County.
Jafi Lafayette acknowledging knowing Ezekial Halevi, the man seen in the video wearing a striped sweater. Halevi is the son of Serapher Conn Halevi, the Chief Marshall of the Marshall’s Department of the City of Mount Vernon.
From 2004 to 2008, Serapher Conn Halevi served as the Chairperson for the Mount Vernon Democratic Party, succeeding Reginald Lafayette who went on to be come Chairperson of the Westchester County Democratic Party and Co-Chair of the Westchester County Board of Electio
Bramson’s campaign has denied any knowledge of the two individuals shown in the video.
Talk of the Sound has obtained additional, unseen video and a high resolution photograph in which the license plate number for the vehicle is clearly displayed.
The black SUV has a New York State license plate FFB 1205.
