New Rochelle Police received a call from a resident on Halcyon Terr Early Tuesday morning about a person inside his car in the Halcyon park area. The suspect 6’3 white and a balding head wearing a hoodie was chased by police and was caught underneath a car after a brief foot pursuit. Police then checked the area and found cars broken into all around the area of President Street.Hubert place,Sidney street and Halcyon terr. AS police searched the area they came upon clothes and other items taken from cars that had been left unlocked in the area.
Police were still getting calls from residents in the area at 8.OOAM when they found there cars to be ransacked and doors left open.
