NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Greg Merchant, a real estate investor and member of the New Rochelle Industrial Development Agency, will not be re-appointed when his term ends in January, sources tell Talk of the Sound.

Council Member Louis Trangucci raised questions about Merchant during an appearance on WVOX radio after Merchant’s employee, Robin Sherman, presented a fraud-ridden, Forest City-backed petition purporting to show support for the Echo Bay Project.

The City Council went into Executive Session on Tuesday to discuss a personnel matter. Readers can draw their own conclusions as to the subject.
