Arthur Rothstein, one of America’s premier photojournalists, was a long time New Rochelle resident. His wife still resides in their home in New Rochelle.
Among this many photos, including his iconic images of the Dust Bowl is an image of a farmer and his two sons during a dust storm in Cimarron County, Oklahoma, 1936.
“American Workers: Surviving the Great Depression” was an exhibition of photographs by Arthur Rothstein was presented at Rotunda Gallery, New Rochelle City Hall from September to November, 2012.
