VIPs Read Aloud to Children at New Rochelle’s Jefferson Elementary School

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Mayor Noam Bramson, New York State Senator George Latimer, Hon. Susan Kettner (City Court of New Rochelle), New Rochelle Schools Interim Superintendent Dr. Jeffrey Korostoff, New Rochelle Board of Education President David Lacher and many others dignitaries read to children at Jefferson Elementary School in New Rochelle, NY as part of the 12th annual New York State Great Read Aloud.
 
 Listening to books being read aloud is a tremendous learning tool for children. It helps with fluency, especially for those students who are learning English as a second language.
