New Rochelle Police received a call from a resident who resides at 505 Main Street that a person came through his window of his second floor apartment around 330am Monday morning. The resident said he had a brief struggle with the suspect but that he got away. The suspect was known to the victim as a person who use to live there and was no longer allowed there. After a brief search of the area the suspect was found hiding out in Library Green a park in the downtown of New Rochelle where homeless and drug dealers hang out at night and has been a constant hot spot for police. The park no longer has it’s gates locked at night for some unknown reason. The suspect was taken to Sound Shore Medical center for a ankle injury.
