NEW ROCHELLE, NY — The WFAN All-Stars Celebrity Softball Game comes to New Rochelle on Wednesday, August 13 at 6PM at the Flowers (City) Park athletic complex. Free admission. This third annual event pits former New Rochelle resident and high school alum Craig Carton of the “Boomer and Carton” morning radio sports talk show and his superstar lineup against a City team coached by College of New Rochelle Athletic Director Harold Crocker.
Warm-ups begin at 5:30 pm and the nine inning slow pitch game will start at 6:00 pm. A food and beverage court area hosted by Beechmont Tavern will be open throughout the game.
Also during the game an event merchandise/50-50 raffle will raise funds for the New Rochelle Park & Recreation Gift fund with dedicated proceeds specifically earmarked for the new athletic complex at Flowers (City) Park. Sponsorship opportunities are still available.
