The College of New Rochelle Cross Country Competes at QCC Invitational

NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Under markedly improved running conditions from their opening meet last weekend, the Blue Angels competed under ideal running conditions Sunday at the Queensborough CC Invitational, held on the historic cross country course at Van Cortlandt Park.

Junior Tayler Fisher posted the top performance for The College of New Rochelle, placing 21st overall with a time of 23:43.6. Sophomore Jenean Igmat was the second CNR runner across the finish line, completing the 5000 meter course in a time of 25:54.6 to place 55th overall.

Other finishers for the Blue Angels were; Sherline Ortiz (103rd), Dora Diaz (108th), Ashley Smith (113th), Ashley Cherian (114th) and Vyanna Todd (115th).

The Blue Angels placed 14th as a team, compiling a team score of 303.​
