NEW ROCHELLE, NY — President Judith Huntington thanked some of the College’s most faithful and generous supporters at the annual President’s Circle Dinner, held Thursday, October 9, at the Glen Island Harbour Club in New Rochelle.
“Your support is an incredible source of strength and inspiration,” Huntington said, “and gives me the motivation to continue to move the College to even greater heights.”
Huntington updated guests on the College’s latest accomplishments: the sale of the John Cardinal O’Connor Campus in the South Bronx; the designation of CNR as a START-UP NY site; and two multimillion-dollar grants from the federal government.
“Receiving two significant grants like these is truly a validation of the College’s ability to continue to improve student success through its dedication to mission, clarity of vision, and innovative programming,” Huntington said.
But while these grants are important, the president noted the continuous need for scholarships, supported primarily by contributions to the Annual Fund. “For that, I am ever grateful,” Huntington told those gathered.
“Thank you once again for all that you have done and continue to do,” Huntington said, before offering a toast with Elizabeth LeVaca, Chair of the Board of Trustees.
