NEW ROCHELLE, NY — Two guests who are making an impact on downtown New Rochelle are interviewed in the two newest episodes of the League of Women Voters of New Rochelle cable television program, “City People and Issues,” alternating Monday nights at 7 pm and repeated Wednesday and Thursday nights at 9 pm. on Cablevision Channel 76.
New Rochelle’s Commissioner of Development Luiz Aragon answers questions about the processes in which a Master Developer will develop New Rochelle’s downtown and transportation center using crowd sourcing and meetings with citizens and civic groups to help shape the plans.
James Killoran, executive director of Habitat for Humanity in Westchester County describes the organization’s expanded Restore, which resells household and other items, promotes renewable energy and holds community events. He also explains the impact of Habitat, locally and nationally, in promoting its mission of affordable home ownership..
The interview with Aragon is scheduled for the weeks of November 3 and 17. The interview with Killoran will be during the weeks of November 10 and 24.
